| St. Isidore School is a community of students, teachers and parents. The school, located at 515 Marcy Avenue, Riverhead, New York, is a fully accredited elementary school. Our grade levels are kindergarten to Grade 8. We also run a fully licensed pre-school for three and four year olds on our Riverhead campus.St. Isidore, a Catholic school is attended and supported by the following several parishes: St. Isidore, St. Mark in Shoreham, St. John the Evangelist in Riverhead, St. John the Baptist in Wading River and St. Anthony in Rocky Point. The school was established in 1961 to service the children of St. Isidore Parish.The school is administered by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, Daughters of Wisdom and is staffed with fully qualified and accredited faculty. St. Isidore follows a curriculum administered by the Diocese of Rockville Centre Education Department and requirements standardized by the NY State Department of Education. St. Isidore School is a part of the NY State Education Department and the Diocese of Rockville Centre.We academically challenge our students and uphold family values in a faith based atmosphere. The home and school are partners in building a true Christian community. We aim to create a school community in an atmosphere enlivened by the Gospel Spirit of freedom and charity. We aim to help students so development of his or her own personality will be matched by the growth of the new creation he or she has become by Baptism. We learn and share together. To each we give and from each we receive concern, kindness and understanding. Those we meet will reflect what we share. The faculty at St. Isidore visualizes an education that instructs,inspires, and develops all students with a strong sense of personal responsibility toward God, self and neighbor through liturgical, intellectual and social experiences. The community, students, faculty and staff, strive to promote a strong sense of family, making fully available an education that integrates a ministry enriching the harmonious development of the whole person; spiritually, intellectually, socially and physically.
